We are recruiting to fill the below job position;
Job Title: Operational Procurement Manager
All Business Units - All States
The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to:
Ø Monitor the maintenance of planned inventory levels for local materials, report progress against plans, and provide corrective action support for inventories that vary from plan.
Ø Monthly Hot Spot tracking and resolution for Imported materials
Ø Constant communication with designated suppliers on a daily basis to ensure inventory levels maintained
Ø Assess and take actions re shortage and material at risk reports
Ø Ensure that forecasts and schedules support the production plan before sending out to suppliers Ø Expedite material to support production plan using line load/forecast/spread sheets/due & overdue reports etc.
Ø Conduct physical inventory checks on high value & critical components to understand accuracy and ensure continuity of build.
Ø Investigate the cause of shortages & liaise with the team & other affected areas of the business
Ø Manage key department metrics (KPIs, OTIF, S & OP Metrics) and generate executive dashboards, reports and presentations
Ø Develop and maintain procurement analysis for key materials detailing past and current supplier performance
Ø Manage the day to day relationships with key suppliers.
The Person: The Right candidate must
· Have bachelor’s degree in business, finance, materials management or related field is required
· Have excellent Excel and Power Point knowledge
· Be flexible/adaptable - able to cope with change.
· Have at least three years of direct experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least two years in purchasing/procurement function.
· Have experience with MRP systems.
