Purpose
As a Panel Builders & OEMs Support Engineer, You would be responsible for:
- Investigating the market of panel builders and select proper candidates in different geographical locations based on business plan and sales targets.
- Follow up with the related departments inside ABB to issue the agreement with at least three panel builders by Q2 2014
- Active customer satisfaction by supporting and understand their requests for (fast response – Technical support – Training requests – Problems solving – Orders follow up – budget identify – conflict absorbing- marketing tools)
- Organize seminars and launch the new products and ABB tools and strategies to the certified panel builders
- To monitor the strategy of our competitors against their panel builders and perform the related SWOT analysis.
- Qualifying & approving the authorized panel builders to be included at the vendor list of the consultants.
- Regular supervision on the PBs to guarantee the level of quality.
- Provide technical and application assistance for the allocated customers.
- Manage, track, and report status on each of these Customers at least monthly to the superior and the local LP manager
- Promote ABB original products and systems and the customer benefits, not only related to the Business Unit and to increase the awareness of the panel builders about recognizing the fake products.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events organized by others
- Continuously analyze and pay frequent visits to the market to ensure thorough knowledge and input to the business and marketing plan.
- Develop strategies and action plans on stock and price management.
- Where required, help outside the assigned segment as requested by management.
- Comprehend and follow the ABB procedures , instructions and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively horizontally & vertically within his organization.
- Understanding LP strategic direction and articulate it in a clear manner to different levels of Customers.
- Prepare the order documents for registration.
- Actively monitor the actions of competitors for local market and contribute to the strategies assigned by the management
Qualification
Your Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical with 0 to 2 years of experience will be an ideal fit.
Knowledge of Low Voltage Products is required.
Fluency in in both spoken & written English is a must & Additional Knowledge of French will be an advantage
